Sid El Bachir Beach - Saidia

In Saidia, Morocco's most popular seaside resort, a large part of the coastline has been disfigured by concrete. But some wild beaches have escaped the big real estate projects. This is particularly the case of Sid el Bachir beach accessible through an unspecified track. The vertiginous cliffs that surround the beach give it this mysterious air of unknown territory. Other unspoiled wild beaches "without names" are to be discovered all along the coast of the Oriental region.

Tibouda Beach - Nador

The drive from Nador takes about 45mins to an hour. the last 15 mins the road is single lane so drive carefully then a final descent on what can only be called a dirt track. If you're expecting a perfect beach, DON'T. there is litter it could be better looked after but it isn't. what you do get on a nice clear day is crystal clear waters, absolutely beautiful. perfect for swimming, diving and snorkelling. keep an eye on the kids though there are quite a few rocks about. bring your own food, picnic or even bbq. great day sunbathing swimming and if you are lucking enough to catch a fisherman coming back with their catch you can buy some fish for near to nothing and bbq their on the beach........ bliss!

Beni Mellal

Beni Mellal is a Moroccan city located in the country's interior. It is the capital of the Béni Mellal-Khénifra Region and has a population of 192,676. It sits at the foot of Jbel Tassemit, and next to the plains of Beni Amir. The walls of the city go back to Moulay Ismail, in 1688, as well as the Kasbah Bel-Kush but most of the city is quite modern and forms an important economic centre for the region particularly in the areas of petrochemical production as well as textile manufacturing which forms the backbone of the wider community. Local agricultural products as oranges, olives, figs etc. find their way to the market via Beni Mellal. The city has good connections via the road to Casablanca to the East and lies on the ancient route - now a national road - from Fez to Marrakech. The national rail-operator ONCF is also extending the railtrack from Casablanca to Oued Zem to the city.
